Miami Day 4, 1 of 2

Leaving the dock

Harvey was excited to go on his very first boat trip.

"Where are we going, Mama?"

"I'm not sure about this vest thingy."

"Good thing you have your hat on backwards, Papa!  The wind is pretty strong!"

"Are we there yet?"

"I'm glad we're here. Papa!  I'm hungry!"

Our host insisted we order a Miami specialty, conch fritters!

"That was a good lunch, papa!  Time to go home!"

"Stop posing and let's just get back inside, Papa!"

It was a super fun ride and made both Hao and me consider maybe buying a boat in the future, haha.  Must be the Miami goggles.

Miami Day 3

We checked out of our hotel  on Day 3 as there were no more rooms available.  We decided to look for some authentic Cuban food and our concierge heartily recommended Havana 1957, and I'm very glad he did.

Harvey loved the plantain chip appetizer!  He actually finished the whole serving for his lunch.

After lunch we checked into our new hotel and Harvey was thrilled they had fresh apples at the reception desk.

And once we got inside our room, he headed straight for the balcony where we proceeded to play his favorite game with his blankies -- "where's your face?"

See how thrilled he is?  That face makes me want to play with him ALL DAY!

Miami Day 2

Day 2 was the official start of Hao's conference, so we basically just stayed at the hotel.  It turns out Harvey is still a teensy bit afraid of water.

"No, Papa, this is as far as I'm going!  Take me away!"

"I'd rather just stay here and play on the fake grass."

"Ooh, look!  Yummy water!  Mama, maybe we can serve water this way at home!"

"Whee!"

"So what if it's only 2 inches deep?  That's 2 inches too deep for me! I'm just a small boy!  Maybe I can try again when I'm a bit older..."

"Ah, running around is so much more fun!"

"Mama, we get the Harvey channel here, too?  Wow!"

So after a little time with us at the pool area, Hao left for the conference and Harvey and I just stayed and played for a bit.  This was an extremely relaxing day and he even got to take a nap in the afternoon.

Andy Warhol x Bugaboo

Just when I thought I was going to buy the Summer Stripes collection, Bugaboo went and released the Bugaboo x Andy Warhol Collection! Argh!  Now my choice has become even tougher!  If I had to choose, I would really prefer the Flowers Collection, but since Harvey is a boy, I guess the Cars collection would suit him better.  So now, my dilemma is, should I get the Cars or Stripes?  Help!
