Apple picking

 

A couple of weekends ago, we decided to go apple picking.  It was my in-laws' last weekend with us and they reminded us that last year we had gone too late and all the apples were gone.

 

These were our fellow apple pickers. The trees were dwarves so we didn't need ladders to pick  any of the apples.

  

Harvey enjoyed exploring the orchard and had tons of fun playing with his Yeye (grandfather).

 Of course, the main point of the trip was to get some apples, and boy, did we go home with lots of apples!  You can see Harvey enjoying super fresh apples here.  In fact, since this trip, he can't get enough of apples!



This is the exact same orchard we went to last year, and one of the things I was looking forward to was eating some apple cider donuts.  Yum!  Looks like Harvey enjoyed them, too!  Last year, Harvey was too young to do much during our visit, but this year, look how much fun he had.
