Montreal Weekend

While my parents were visiting, we decided to take them on a quick weekend trip to Montreal.  It was about a 5 hour drive and colder than we had anticipated.  Because the weather was so cold, we ended up mostly just eating and doing brief walking tours based on a guidebook.

Brunch at Holder

Brunch at Holder was worth the wait.  The soft boiled eggs were perfectly cooked and exceptionally delicious!  With truffle tapenade and oyster mushrooms, how could it not be?

After a fun weekend of eating and more eating, we headed home, exhausted but with a lot of take home goodies to remind us of how much fun we had.  The croissants and other pastries we bought were wiped out in a matter of days!
