Halloween this year was the second day of what would turn out to be 8 days of power outage for us. We were lucky that we still had gas and hot water. We kept warm during the daytime by going to Hao's office for Harvey's lunch and naptime, and then to the malls once they regained power. Halloween was cancelled in our area, but Harvey still wore his outfit (He had to, it was his first Halloween!). It was too dark to take decent photos, though.
These were taken a week later, after we got our power back and decided to celebrate Halloween anyway. Nobody was giving out candy anymore, but it's not like Harvey could enjoy them, right?
We were determined to have Harvey experience a real Halloween, so although it was a week delayed, we decided to visit our neighbors (with advance warning, of course) and spent the afternoon just shooting the breeze. And Harvey managed to come home with some candy!
